The team

I first met the team back in June. There is a total of six of us on this gap year.

There is Dani, Sully, Ira, Esther, and Gabriel. All of them have hearts of gold that are ready and willing to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Each of them are unique in their own way. I am honored and excited to start this new journey with them all.

Dani-She is the oldest on the team and lives in Texas. She loves science and spending time with her siblings. Her favorite color is light forest green. She decided to go on this gap year because she was looking for something different. Dani has a really big, beautiful heart for people in how they are doing and/or feeling. I can't wait to see it in action!

Sully- He lives in Pennsylvania. Home of Rocky Balboa. He is the second oldest on the team. He plays guitar, loves science, loves God's beautiful nature, and of course loves his sister's snake (Just kidding). When we got to talking, he had such a vulnerable heart. He really cares about others and their hurts and isn't afraid to show us his hurts. It was refreshing to see that in a guy.

Ira- She lives in Russia. She is the third oldest on the team. Her favorite colors are pink and black. She has a BEAUTIFUL Russian accent!! She loves winter, cats, horses, math, and physics. She's a genius!! She wants to grow closer with God during this year. Her biggest goal is to not be afraid of showing people her ministry. She has beautiful heart, and I'm so excited to dig deeper with her!

Esther- She lives in Alabama. She is the fifth oldest on the team. She loves getting sopping wet in the rain! She adores her family, invents new and unique words, considers the team part of her family, and is very compassionate towards others. She empathizes and builds people up with so much love and care. She loves on them so much and her heart breaks when theirs break. We all love her so much!

Gabriel- He is currently living in Oregon. He is the youngest on our team. He is an AMAZING artist, is thinking about becoming a counselor, asks good questions, has a great sense of humor, and knows different languages. What I really admire is his honest character. He got to know us and was so real about life. That takes a lot of courage to be so open. He wants to help at least one person during this gap year mission trip find joy again in their lives.

This is my team in whom I'm excited to share in life's ups and downers! God brought us together. It will be exciting to see what he does in each and everyone of our lives. Together we are brothers and sisters in Christ!
