Hello everyone!!! We have almost finished up our time here in Missoula! Just three weeks left before coming home for Christmas!
Since college students here at UM have finished their finals, they are now on break and back home. That is why our Cru meetings have finished up for the semester along with the Cru Bible studies. Next week is the last week for Young Life. I am told there may be different events scheduled on the weekends to meet up with high schoolers still. We are still taking turns tutoring the two young girls most Mondays and Wednesdays. We had the opportunity to do a Cru’s ladies night where we prepared goody bags for different women for that night! That was a fun uplifting time. Also, as a team, we had a zoom call to hear our team‘s strengths together, not just individually. It was incredible to see where our teams strong suits are!
The week of Thanksgiving was shocking and mind blowing for our team. Bob and Deanne, our leaders left for Maryland for a kidney transplant for Bob. He is doing well so far. It was a great match for him!! Praise God for that wonderful miracle! That week left our team in a difficult position. We had another couple step up to help us out. We are in contact with one leader Deanne whose husband Bob got the transplant! There are also other people in Cru that can be contacted if needed. We most likely won’t be seeing our leaders Bob and Deanne again before we all head back for Christmas, but I’m so glad that Bob had a match for his kidney! Praise God!!!
Since our schedule had slowed down to very bare minimum, we made an adjustment to it to be more active in doing things. There will still be tutoring mostly every Monday and Wednesday, discipleship every Tuesday, and team meetings/team time. Today we got new responsibilities. Esther and Ira are in charge of outreach. They will plan on deciding on dates for our team to go out and evangelize and help out at different events. Gabriel and I are in charge of deciding on days to do worship, prayer time, and reading the Bible as a team together. That hasn‘t been happening for awhile now. Sully and Dani are in charge of putting these things on our calendar and letting our leaders know what’s been going on in the team. We might also have a Bible study time with someone involved in Cru. I’m trying to reach out there and volunteer for different places people need help. Most of my team helped out building stands for Christmas trees at a Christmas tree lot. I believe the funds of the sales will go towards helping young women recover from addiction.
I would love prayer for our team to be united with one another remembering the common goal we strive for. Recently, there has been a lot of conflict that has divided our team. We have been working through those things slowly but surely. Communication in our team seems like a challenge. Would you all please pray for more communication within our team? I love them and would love to see us growing together and overcoming obstacles. Thank you for all your prayers!! I really can’t tell you how wonderful it is knowing I have so many people rooting for this team and praying! It means a lot to me!
I know some of you saw this on my Instagram page. I apologize for bringing it up again, but I’d love to share this with you all again.

My team and I were reading through this verse in Mark. Oh my, it was so impactful for me in a way that it hasn’t ever been before. I felt like I was one of His disciples saying, “Do you not care that we are perishing.” Jesus calms the storm because He cared about them. Think about our storms in life. We constantly ask God if He cares about us and our suffering. We feel like we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have the light and hope right next to us in our storm. I realized how little faith I have in my storms. How I don’t rely on Him. He carries us, calms our storms, and is right there with us in our storms. He promises to never leave us or forsake us. You are not alone Child! Jesus cares about your sickness, your stress, your hurt, your pain, your brokenness. He is there through it all because He cares about YOU! Look up Child, believe He is there, believe He cares. I just wanted to share with you what was impactful for me. I hope it has impacted you as well. I keep learning new things that make me just stunned. It touches my heart. God loves you!
Could you all please pray that I would continue to strive after God, know how much He cares for me, and learn to let go of things and give Him control? Those are areas I constantly struggle in. Also in being a people pleaser and caring what others think of me, I would really appreciate prayer in living for an audience of one, and only caring what God thinks of me. Thank you so much for all your prayers! ❤️
I will include some pictures of different things! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving!!! Know how much I appreciate You! Thanks for all you have done! ❤️
