Missouri

Hello everyone!!! Just wanted to let you know that I made it to Missouri!! Today was our first whole day! My team and I met our leaders and the Cru staff and went to the three different campuses that we will be working on. Here are the names of all three.

1. Missouri State

2. Ozark Technical Community College (OTC)

3. Drury College

We split up into pairs and evangelized on two of the campuses. I’ve had bad experiences sharing about my faith and was expecting it to be the same. It was still uncomfortable, but we used these cards called Perspective.

What’s nice about these cards is that they let others pick cards and share about what they believe. It gives them a chance to be heard. I believe people want others to care and listen. After that, we were able to tell them what we believe.

We talked to a couple Christians that wanted to get more involved and be more disciplined, and we talked to a person who was open to new ideas. It was a splendid day!! I will be posting again at the end of the month! Just wanted to let you know that we made it here safely and let you know how the first day went!
